The HotShot II XL comes standard with equal size oven and refrigeration compartments, however custom compartment sizes are available to meet your specific needs. Offers 30% more cargo space than the HotShot Standard.
This unit will allow you to carry 560 individual hot three sectional homebound meals using 28 eighteen inch by twenty-six inch sheet pans and 14 half sheet pans or 36 four inch deep hotel pans and 12 half size hotel pans if meals are transported in bulk for congregate delivery.
The refrigeration compartment is 72 cubic feet and can be shelved to hold 672 individual meals packaged in styrofoam containers or 36 full size and 14 one-half size 4" deep hotel pans if meals are transported in bulk form. The compartment, without shelves, can accommodate a
minimum of 38 milk crates.
The Stainless Steel Convection Holding Oven has a two-door access, pass-thru interior that is thermostatically controlled to maintain temperatures to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. Heating is provided by a ceiling mounted blower system coupled with a series of integrated coils that originate from the vehicle's existing cooling system. The interior dimensions are 33.5"H by 38"W by 75"D or 55 cubic feet.
The Refrigeration Compartment has a two-door
access, pass-thru interior with an FDA approved Gel Coat. This compartment
can be equipped with a catering rack system on one side and 3 removable
coated racks on the opposite side. Cooling is provided by an over the
road refrigeration system with an engine-mounted compressor, roof-mounted
condenser, and a high efficiency, dual 10 inch fan-evaporator mounted on
the compartment cieling. Drains are located in the floor
of this compartment for easy cleaning. System will thermostatically maintain
temperatures at 34 degrees Fahrenheit or lower if desired.
The interior dimensions are 43"H by 36.5"W by 75"D or 72 cubic feet.
The total length of this unit mounted on cab and chassis is 18 feet.
Compartment temperatures are continually monitored with an under-the-dash mounted digital readout control panel.

Any single wheel full size pickup truck with an eight foot bed. A body is now available for a Chevy or Ford dual wheel heavy duty cab/chassis with approximately a 56 inch cab to axle.

NEW IN 2005: There is a warranty to the original purchaser, that the product is free from defects in materials and factory workmanship for a period of 2 years from date of purchase and/or 24,000 miles, and only while in possession of the original owner.The truck manufacturer warranties the cab and chassis. The installation of a Hotshot does not affect the chassis warranty.
